1. Gantry Design Double Cone Uncoiler
The gantry-type double cone uncoiler supports the steel strip from both sides, helping prevent the heavy strip from spreading or falling during operation.It is particularly suitable for heavy-gauge strip with a thickness of 10–13 mm, providing safer and more convenient material loading.
2. Heavy-Duty Forming Section
The forming section gradually shapes the steel strip into a round tube before welding.The machine uses thicker horizontal and vertical stands to provide greater structural strength and stable operation, making it suitable for large diameter and heavy-wall tube production.3. Cast Steel Horizontal Stands
The horizontal stands are manufactured from cast steel, providing a rigid and durable machine structure.The cast steel construction helps improve equipment precision and extend service life, which is particularly important when producing thick-wall pipes.4. Needle Bearing System
Needle bearings are installed on the operating-side horizontal stands to improve equipment accuracy and provide stable operation over long production cycles.The horizontal stands also feature motorized vertical adjustment, making machine adjustment easier and more convenient for operators.
5. PPTT Plasma + TIG Welding System
The welding section uses a four-torch PPTT welding configuration:-
First Plasma Torch – Preheating

The combined welding process provides deep penetration while producing a fuller and smoother weld seam surface.
6. Fully Automatic Grinding Section
The grinding section is equipped with four automatic grinding heads for processing the external weld seam.The grinding heads feature a fully enclosed design and automatic electric-motor pressing system, making adjustment easier while reducing manual operation and production time.
7. Two-Section Sizing System
The tube mill includes two sizing sections:-
1st Sizing Section: Pre-sizing

The two-stage sizing process helps progressively adjust the formed tube to the required final dimensions.8. Two-Section Black Annealing System
The black annealing system consists of two sections: heating and temperature holding.This configuration is designed to provide more uniform heating and consistent annealing quality for thick-wall pipes. It also helps strengthen the weld seam, reduce the risk of cracking and enhance the corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipes.
9. Band Saw Cutting Machine
The tube mill uses a band saw cutting machine for large and thick pipes.The supplied configuration is designed for cutting pipes in the 273.1–406.4 mm diameter range with 10–13 mm wall thickness, making it suitable for heavy-wall pipe applications.
10. Powerful Drive System
The machine is equipped with three 55 kW Siemens motors, providing strong driving power for heavy-wall pipe production, particularly for 10–13 mm thick material.An industrial turbine gearbox is also used to provide powerful and stable transmission for thick tube manufacturing.11. PLC Control System
The PLC control system allows operators to control the complete tube mill production line from the control system.Multiple one-touch emergency stop buttons are also installed throughout the machine to improve operational safety.
